Vaccinations
Pet vaccinations in Abu Dhabi
Vaccines protect your pet against serious, sometimes fatal diseases and keep your records ready for registration, boarding and travel. We tailor every schedule to your pet’s age, lifestyle and history.

When to come in
- Your puppy or kitten is 6 to 8 weeks old and needs a first vaccination course
- Your adult pet’s annual booster is due or overdue
- You have adopted a pet with missing or unclear vaccine records
- You are planning boarding, grooming or international travel
What it covers
For dogs
Core protection against rabies, distemper, parvovirus and adenovirus, plus lifestyle vaccines such as leptospirosis and kennel cough when your dog’s routine calls for them.
For cats
Core protection against rabies, panleukopenia, herpesvirus and calicivirus, with feline leukaemia vaccination discussed for cats that go outdoors or live with other cats.
What to expect
Every vaccination appointment starts with a full physical examination, because vaccines should only be given to a pet that is well enough to respond to them. We check weight, temperature, heart, lungs, eyes, ears, teeth and skin, then talk through which vaccines your pet actually needs.
The injection itself takes seconds. We use gentle, Fear Free handling and treats to keep it calm. You leave with an updated vaccination record and a reminder for the next dose.
Our approach
We do not believe in one schedule for every pet. A young indoor cat and a dog that visits parks, beaches and boarding kennels face very different risks. We build a plan around your pet’s real life and keep the paperwork you need for registration and travel in order.
Mild tiredness or a little soreness for a day after vaccination is normal. Call us straight away if you notice facial swelling, vomiting or difficulty breathing.
Frequently asked questions
How often does my pet need vaccinating?
Puppies and kittens need a course of injections a few weeks apart, then a booster at around one year. After that, most core vaccines are given every one to three years depending on the vaccine, while some lifestyle vaccines are yearly. We will tell you exactly what is due and when.
Is rabies vaccination required in Abu Dhabi?
Rabies vaccination is required for pets in the UAE and is essential for registration and travel. We keep your certificate up to date and can advise on the documents you need.
My pet’s vaccine records were lost. What now?
Bring whatever you have. We can examine your pet, discuss blood testing for antibody levels where useful, and restart or continue a safe schedule.
